Following the closure of our original home, the Mulberry Tree, Twickenham, in 1989, we opened the Cry No More Social Club at the Turks Head, a stone’s throw away. A little more than a stone’s throw unless you can throw a stone half a mile. Unlikely. Both of these establishments were the scene of many colourful, often rather lurid adventures and we thank their respective landlords, Mervyn Edwards and Chris Brazier. Special thanks also to Daisy Hayes One Way Trucking and everyone who came to see us.

This album should be called 'Live-ish at the Cry No More Social Club as 4 of the tracks were not in fact recorded live.
